With so much discussion of national polls going on, the well-respected Quinnipiac University just dropped one that is causing a political earthquake!
The poll shows that Hillary Clinton and conservative businessman Donald Trump are tied… and Trump would be leading if not for the libertarian candidate:
Hillary Clinton has a slim 2-point national lead over Donald Trump in the race for the White House, according to a new national poll.
Clinton edges out Trump, 42 to 40 percent, in the Quinnipiac University survey released early Wednesday.
The thin gap remains when third-party candidates are included, with Clinton squeaking past Trump, 39 to 37 percent. Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson earns 8 percent in that scenario, while Green Party candidate Jill Stein nabs 4 percent.
Pollsters also found voters are deeply dissatisfied with the climate surrounding the 2016 presidential election.
Sixty-one percent say it has “increased the level of hatred and prejudice in the U.S.,” with only 34 percent seeing “no impact.”

But that’s not the best news of the poll. The Hill conveniently left out how popular Trump is among Hispanic voters.
Trump is now at 33% of the Hispanic vote, a vastly higher number than the results earned by Gov. Mitt Romney in 2012 and Senator. John McCain (R-AZ) in 2008.
That means a large percent of Hispanic voters and legal immigrants support the rule of law and a Trump presidency. That doesn’t fit the template set by the liberal media!
