The presidential election is just one day away, and according to Fox News, things are looking VERY good for Donald Trump!
Fox News’ battleground map has shifted once again just hours before the election, and though the latest Fox News Electoral Scorecard still gives Hillary Clinton the edge, things have shifted slightly in Trump’s favor.
The scorecard released on Monday states that Clinton can get to the necessary 270 electoral votes by winning all the states rated “solid” or “leaning” Democratic. Doing this would just barely get her the victory with 274 electoral votes.
Though Trump’s path to victory is narrow, it’s expanding in the eyes of Fox, whose scorecard says he can win by snatching up the toss-ups and flipping at least one state currently seen as leaning toward Clinton.
Here are Monday morning’s updates to the Fox News Decision Team’s ratings for key battlegrounds:
- Arizona changes from “toss up” to “lean Republican”
- Iowa changes from “toss up” to “lean Republican”
- Nevada changes from “toss up” to “lean Democrat”
- North Carolina changes from “lean Democrat” to “toss up”
- Utah changes from “toss up” to “lean Republican”
Everything except for the change in Nevada is favorable for Trump. However, winning all the “solid Republican” states and the toss-up ones won’t be enough for him, as he’ll likely have to steal a “solidly Democrat” state in order to win.
