Sam Rohrer from the American Pastors Network went on TheDove TV’s “Focus Today” show on Tuesday to proclaim that the attack at Ohio State University a few days earlier is because the government is bringing in people “who have no respect for out God.”
Rohrer cited the Old Testament, saying that God told Israel to incorporate immigrants by “pointing them to the God in Heaven.” He claims that America is not following that basic rule, but instead is accepting “immigrants who have no interest in our God” and “no desire to be a participant in what God has done here.”
Rohrer claims that in the past, when America took in immigrants and “then we presented them in the culture to this God, we were blessed.” America no longer requires immigrants to know “the God of the Bible” and instead, the government is actually working to “turn them against the God of Heaven.”
He said that in regards to immigration, America “changed the historical biblical rules and is the reason why God must discipline our country.”
“Now we have millions of people,” Rohrer said, “who are here for the wrong reasons, been invited in by people with wrong motives and now we have a people here, large numbers of them who have no respect for our God, they serve primarily the god of Allah and they embrace Sharia law” which encourages them to engage in terrorism.
Rohrer warned listeners that until America realizes that it cannot support “two competing Gods…we’re going to find ourselves in increasing trouble.”
