Democratic nominee for president, Secretary Hillary Clinton, has already referred to Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables.” So it should come as no surprise that the sitting president would mock an entire state.
While campaigning for Hillary, President Obama couldn’t help but poke fun at the citizens of Texas, “joking” calling the Lone Star State “the swamp of crazy.”
“We did a military exercise. Pentagon does them periodically in Texas,” the President stated, referring to operation Jade Helm. “Suddenly, all the folks in Texas were like ‘They’re going to take over right now!’”
“THEN THE SENATOR SAID ‘YEAH, WE BETTER LOOK INTO THAT.’ THEN THE GOVERNOR SAYS ‘WELL, I DON’T KNOW.’ WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON’T KNOW? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? REALLY?”
After getting a few laughs the President decided to continue, calling out the state’s governor, Gregg Abbott, asking “You think the entire Pentagon said ‘Really, you want to declare martial law and take over Texas? Let’s do it under the guise of routine training missions…’?”
The President takes his ridiculing of Texans one step further, suggesting “there’s sort of a spectrum” that a lot of Texans and most other conservatives fall under in the eyes of the all-knowing, Ivy-league liberal. How dare the people of Texas question the actions of an incredibly trustworthy Obama administration.
Obama Calls Texas ‘Swamp Of Crazy’
Isn’t it funny how the Left likes to throw around the idea that “conservatives are dividing the country,” meanwhile the sitting president mocks millions of people? I mean, I get it. Texas would never elect Hillary in a million years, so it doesn’t hurt them in the polls to make fun of a huge percentage of the country. Still, it’s incredibly petty for the President of The United States of America to suggest some may be living in a “swamp of crazy.”
By now, most conservative Americans have grown immune to the insults hurled at us by those in Washington, but that doesn’t mean we should take it lying down. This is unacceptable for our country’s “leader” to mock those he was elected to serve. Election day can’t get here soon enough!
